The Elephant Breeding Center in Chitwan offers visitors a unique opportunity to observe Asian elephants while learning about ongoing conservation efforts. About the Conservation Program

The park serves its purpose in terms of Nepal’s efforts at wildlife conservation, where Asian elephants are bred and raised. Some elephants are trained to assist with conservation activities, including wildlife monitoring and park management within Chitwan National Park. It is both a place for conservation and a place that tourists can visit, and our tour guides will be happy to talk about both the successes and the difficulties in raising captive elephants in Nepal.
